Boston police attempt to search the Ritz-Carlton Hotel for three murderers.

The police are persuaded to look elsewhere, however, when hotel owner Edward Wyner informs them, “I can give you the pedigree of every person in this hotel.” The killers are subsequently captured elsewhere.
